At the recent Toronto Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo presented by eBay Motors, BracketLife’s Andrew Stirk interviewed Spencer Hyde, who had stunned the drag racing world the week before by winning the World Series of Pro Mod event (and the $100,000 US first prize!) in Bradenton, Florida.
During their chat, in the Racing Zone at Motorama, they discussed Spencer’s history in the sport, how he secured an invitation to the prestigious Florida event, the struggle to qualify for the field of 32, and the ’round by round’ battles en route to the title.
