Markham, ON – The Ontario Honda Dealers Indy at Markham brought race cars to the streets of the Toronto suburb for the first time, with IndyCar’s lone Canadian stop headlining a weekend that also included the NASCAR Canada Series, FEL Radical Cup Canada, USF2000 and USF Pro 2000.
The 12-turn, 3.52-km (2.19-mile) temporary street course replaced the Exhibition Place track on Toronto’s waterfront. Despite track preparation delays to start the weekend, the new circuit, on recently paved surfaces around the Unionville GO train station, had no shortage of exciting battles in each series.

NTT INDYCAR Series
IndyCar took to the track for their 90-lap race on Sunday afternoon; the longer track meant that the race was 58.14 km (36.36 miles) longer than last year in Toronto. For a detailed recap from our reporter Mary Bignotti Mendez, click here.

NASCAR Canada Series

The FEL Emzone Radical Cup Canada presented by Michelin held a pair of 40-minute races; the track delays meant that both events were on the same day, as the series bookended Sunday’s action.
