STAYNER, ON- Eager to continue the momentum that started with a 4th place finish at Anderson Motor Speedway on April 26th, Brandon Watson will return to ARCA/CRA Super Series competition this Monday, May 26th at Schererville, Indiana’s Illiana Motor Speedway for the Calypso Lemonade 150.

“We had a great race at Anderson, and I’m really excited to get back to racing with the CRA Super Series”, said Watson in a recent trip to the team’s shop. “Illiana is right in the hub of the tour, a lot of team’s are based within a couple hours drive of the speedway, so I expect the competition level to be through the roof”

The Calypso Lemonade 150 will also serve as the second installment in the popular ‘Border Wars’ mini-series, after the opening round at Toledo Speedway on April 12th.

“The fact that this is a combination points event between the CRA Super Series and the ARCA Midwest Tour only adds to the caliber of the field”, opined Watson. “The Midwestern guys are some of the toughest Super Late Model drivers in the country, if we can have a good showing against them, it’ll definitely be a shot in the arm for our whole program”

Watson enters the event 3rd in CRA Super Series points, and hopes another strong run will keep the team in championship contention.

“After our strong run at Anderson, it breathed a lot of life into our team”, explained Watson. “We worried that we had given up a lot of ground after blowing up at Toledo, but now we’re right back in the hunt. It’s definitely a long season, and there’s a lot of racing to go, but you never want to let the points lead get too far out of your grasp”
