The Excel Tower Service 35 is the 12th scheduled race on the tour and will bookend the season for the Go Nuclear Series.

The Go Nuclear Late Model Series has not raced at Brockville since 2014 after the 2015 edition of the event was snowed out. Trenton, Ont. native Charlie Sandercock will clinch the 2016 series championship title simply by starting Friday’s A-Main. He holds a 96-point lead over Brandon Mowat entering the weekend. Sandercock is also among the list of previous Go Nuclear Series winners at the 3/8-mile oval. His first career Go Nuclear Series win came at Brockville on June 22, 2013.

Mowat sits 30 points ahead of Phil Potts for second in the championship standings entering the weekend’s festivities. Kyle Sopaz trails Potts by 47 points in fourth while holding an eight-point cushion over Chris Fleming, who occupies fifth.

Action gets underway at the 1000 Islands RV Centre Fall Nationals at 7:00pm and will be preceded by time trial qualifications for the Go Nuclear Late Model Series and DIRTcar 358 Modified Series. Gates open at 4:00pm and adult general admission is $30. Additional event information can be found at www.brockvillespeeway.com.
