Trois-Rivieres, July 24th, 2012 – The Western Canadian swing is coming to a close for Louis-Philippe Dumoulin this Wednesday at the Auto Clearing Motor Speedway in Saskatchewan. Although the oval races are challenging, the Quebecer is ready to face this event at the wheel of the n°47 WeatherTech Canada/Bellemare.
During the last three oval circuits (June 16th, 23rd and July 14th), Louis-Philippe Dumoulin has displayed tenacity and the competitive capacity to run with the leading group; it is with the same determination that he will participate in the Velocity Prairie Thunder « 250 » tomorrow (Renowned for being a fast, high banked track).
« We are halfway through the season and the objective remains the same, to accumulate a maximum number of points for the championship to equal to our major partners WeatherTech.ca and Groupe Bellemare. This being our first appearance in Saskatoon, and the n°47 WeatherTech Canada/Bellemare being a very performing oval car, it is an optimal occasion to obtain faster lap times and position ourselves in the top five », shares dutifully the 2011 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series Rookie of the Year champion.
On Wednesday July 25th, Louis-Philippe Dumoulin will be qualifying the n°47 WeatherTech Canada/Bellemare starting at 7 pm (ET) and will be on the Auto Clearing Motor Speedway starting grid at 10:15 pm (ET).
Returning to Quebec Thursday evening (July 26th), the professional driving instructor will be coaching at the Ferrari Driving Experience (Mont-Tremblant) on July 30th and 31st, making a return on his hometrack at the Grand Prix of Trois-Rivieres on August 3rd, 4th, and 5th.
