@GBMotorplex • @QUICK32_PBSS • GRAND BEND, ONTARIO (June 9, 2015) – The second event in the Quick 32 Sportsman Series and the Pro Bike & Sled Series takes place June 12-14 at the Grand Bend Motorplex, and this event will mark the first time in each series’ history that two complete races have been held in one weekend.

And to continue with the double format, the points leaders in both series are two-time champions.

Leading the Quick 32 Sportsman Series at present is Kevin Wicke, driver of the K&K Racing Dodge Stratus Top Sportsman entry out of Stratford, Ontario. Wicke and the team won the points race in the series’ inaugural year of 2009, and backed that up with another title in 2010. He has not been as successful since then, but is off to a good start for 2015 with an event title.

The other two-time champ is Pro Bike rider Dan Cryderman, who won back-to-back PBSS titles in 2013 and 2014. This Thamesville, Ontario Suzuki rider has been the man to beat in the past two years, and his victory during this season’s opener shows he is back in winning form.

Following Wicke in the Quick 32 points going into the next race is the Top Dragster of Dan Zygmont of Chelmsford, another Top Dragster driver, Glen Vardy of Burlington, and Tom Stuart of Chatham and his Top Sportsman car. Tied for fifth are the Top Sportsman team of Wilson & Gray of Ingersoll and Dennis Black and his Top Dragster of Toronto. All are from Ontario.

Rounding out the top five behind Cryderman in the PBSS are Ted Glinny of Milton, James Goudreau of Sudbury, John Orfanidis of Toronto, and Curtis Beck of Milton. All are from Ontario, and all are Pro Bike riders except Goudreau, who competes with an Arctic Cat in Pro Sled.
