DSE Racing Promotions set to Present “Burndown at the Bend I”‏

@GBMotorplex •BRAMPTON, ONTARIO (January 14, 2016) – DSE Automotive Sportsman Racing Promotions will be helping bring big money bracket racing back to the Southern Ontario marketplace this summer with their newly announced “Burndown at the Bend 1” event, which will be held June 10-12, 2016 at Grand Bend Motorplex, in Grand Bend Ontario Canada.

The “Burndown at the Bend” event will feature three days of bracket racing for sportsman racers, with Saturday and Sunday featuring high dollar prizes for racers in Super Pro (Box), Modified (No Box), Super Bike/Sled (box/no box combo), Jr Dragster as well as Top Sportsman and Top Dragster competitors. In addition, the event will feature select Box and No box racers going head-to-head for big cash prizes in separate special Saturday Night Shootouts.

​Friday night (June 10) will kick off the weekend with a $1000 to win Box/No Box combo race. Saturday and Sundays main event races which will see Super Pro drivers racing for $5000 to win each day, with Modified drivers gunning for $2000 to win, Super Bike/Sled racers going for $1000 to win, and Jr Dragster pilots running for $500 to win.

Top Sportsman and Top Dragster racers will be able to compete in the Quick 16 class, which will take the fastest eight Door-cars and fastest eight dragsters from qualifying and place them on a sportsman style ladder, where the final round will feature a Top Sportsman versus Top Dragster match-up. Quick 16 racers will be gunning for a $2000 top prize, while round money will start with a Round 1 win.

The Saturday night High Roller Shoot-outs will feature a unique format where the sixteen Box and No/Box drivers picked, will come via a lottery raffle. Racers will be allowed to pay and enter one raffle entry per person when they arrive at the event, then on Saturday afternoon, the sixteen lucky racer names will be drawn and the ladder set for what should be an extremely exciting Saturday night Shoot-out. In the event more than 32 racers sign up for either Box or No Box, an additional bonus 16 car field will created for either class, giving more racers a chance at running in the shootout’s.

He would add “Grand Bend Motorplex is one of Canada’s finest facilities, with some of the best management, track crew and safety staff in the industry, so when the opportunity arose to Promote a DSE event there, we naturally jumped on it! We really feel this will be one of the races you won’t want to miss this summer.”
