CANFIELD, ONTARIO – After battling with Mother Nature early in the season, the Joe’s Transmission TNT Super Series has a full schedule once again. RACE 2 and RACE 6 have been re-scheduled at Empire Dragway in Leicester, New York for Saturday September 14 and Sunday September 15 presented in partnership with Steve’s Electric and Autos Direct of Buffalo.
These new dates will make a three-race weekend as the TNTSS is already scheduled to be at Elegant Builders Raceway Park in Lancaster, NY on Friday September 13.
“We’re very excited to put these races back in the schedule,” said Ted Barnes, TNTSS Director of Operations. “RACE 2 was actually rained out twice already! And to make a three race weekend is a bonus for the racers as it helps keep travelling expenses down.”
Joe Boniferro, the series title sponsor says the 2013 season is the best yet. “The points battle is very close near the top. The triple is going to bring competition at its highest level and is a great way to end the season. If you have been following the series, you already know that these guys are as good as anyone out there.”
Gates open Friday at 3:00 pm with qualifying at 5:00 pm at Elegant Builders Raceway Park. On Saturday at Empire Dragway, gates open at 11:00 am with qualifying at noon. Sunday has gates opening at 9:30 am and qualifying at 11:00 am.
