Stroud, ON (June 24, 2017)- Unfortunately, Robbie Sikes’ feature came to an early end at Sunset Speedway on Saturday night, as a result of damage from an early incident.
Sikes started off the night by placing ninth in the first heat, followed by an eighth in his second qualifier after being involved in a wreck on Lap 1.
Starting 20th in the 30-lap feature, he would escape an incident in the early laps to move up two spots to 18th by Lap 7. He would look to gain some more positions, however instead, found himself caught up in an incident in turn two. He would come down pit road under caution, with the team calling the feature over early due to the damage.
