LONDON, ON – Ryan Litt and the #07 BS&B Radiator Sprint Car team are set to start their 2013 racing season next weekend on the U.S. Gulf Coast. Ryan and his London, Ontario-based team will be back racing a full schedule with the Must See Racing Xtreme Sprint Car series in 2013.
The Must See Racing Sprint Car schedule includes 12 events for winged Sprint Cars in 6 different states, plus the Little 500 for Sprint Cars without wings.
“I’m very excited to be back running with the premier division for pavement winged sprints – Must See Racing,” says Ryan. “We have gone through the cars, and made sure everything is on point. We are having both motors freshened and ready to go. The biggest thing I’m after this season is consistency. If we can win some races, and run top 5 night in and night out, that would be a good season for us.”
Ryan and the team will be competing at both 5 Flags Speedway and Mobile International Speedway for the first time on March 22nd and 23rd, in the opening rounds of the Must See Racing schedule. The journey from London, Ontario to Pensacola, Florida is approximately 1,100 miles, and will take the team through Detroit, Cincinnati, Louisville, Nashville, and
Birmingham, to name a few.
Following Friday night’s event at Pensacola, the team will make a short 70 mile trip into Alabama to compete at Mobile on Saturday night.
“It should be an exciting year, and starting down south in Florida is awesome,” says Ryan. “I have never been to either race track before. It’s always neat getting to run somewhere new.”
Ryan has finished 2nd in points in each of the past two championships he has contested. He missed a title by just 4 points in 2011, and fell 10 points shy last year. Despite those results, Ryan is not satisfied with his recent performances, and wants to improve this year.
“The last couple years haven’t been ideal,” says Ryan. “We’ve had a lot of part failures, and overall bad luck. Hopefully this season we can turn that around and come out of the gates strong. We have to try to stay positive week in and week out, and go out on the track and have a little fun. That’s why we are all here doing this – to have some fun.”
Ryan and his fellow Must See Racing Xtreme Sprint Car series competitors will get a break after the Southern Shootout events, with their next scheduled events set for Little 500 week May 22-25 at Anderson, Indiana.
