GRAND BEND, ON – The Cross border competition between the Legend car teams from Canada and the United States is led 3 wins to 2 in favour of the US.

Cole Landau with one win, and Sean McPherson with two wins leads the Canadians in the Auto Fusion Towing Can-Am Legend cars series. Canadian wins being credited to Josh Indig, and Grant Quinlan.

It has been quite the series thus far. With five races completed, the competition has been spectacular. Visiting drivers from various Legend Car organizations have made the trip to the tricky tri oval this summer and leave scratching their heads or with a trophy. Jarett Stewart out of Alliston ON was the most recent driver to take on the track, and vowed to return.

Maidstone ON driver Grant Quinlan rolled in for race 4 on July 13, and the performance he put on was impressive. By winning the feature in convincing style, Quinlan evened up the Canada/US season series at two.

A model of consistency, Josh Indig sits solidly near the top of the leader board in second. Indig bagged a win in the series’ second event June 7, and now a title fight looms large with two races to go.

Schedule of events :
* Grand Bend Jr. C Sprints
* OK Tire London S Jr. B Sprints
* London Drive Systems Jr. A Sprints
* Broadway Service Jr Late Models
* Tommy’s Motors 9hp Sprints
* Mike & Terri’s NoFrills Mini Trucks
