PETERBOROUGH, ON – With a full field of Knightworks Design OSCAAR Hot Rod drivers on tap, the battles were fast and furious as drivers tried to reach McColl Racing Enterprises victory lane in the JRS Auction heats for the APC Autumn Colours Classic presented by Toronto Motorama.
Trevor Thompson won the first JRS Auctions heat ahead of Steve Book, Rick Spencer-Walt, Ryan Cowan, John Lavelle, Bill Clarke, Dan Price, and Sean Walker.
A.J. Emms was victorious in the second qualifier in front of Rob Bromley, Tom Walters, Cory McAllister, Connor Ellis, Jeremy McLean, Kyle Woods, and Brandon Feeney.
Tyler Hawn got the checkered flag in the third heat, followed by Luke Gignac, Kenny McNicol, Matt Spry, Nick Clarke, Jerry Broom, Nathan Dettweier, and Rob Cousineau.
Amanda Balson won the fourth heat ahead of McLean, Thompson, Cowan, Ellis, Woods, Bill Clarke, Walker, and Feeney.
Rick Spencer-Walt was victorious in the fifth qualifier in front of Nick Clarke, McNicol, Spry, Book, Price, Lavalle, and Cousineau.
Rob Bromley edged out Tyler Hawn for the sixth heat, followed by Broom, Emms, Walters, McAllister, Gignac, and Dettweier.
Unfortunately, the Autumn Colours Classic feature was not run due to rain all-day both Sunday and Monday this past weekend. Officials have made the decision to run the features this Saturday, October 14.
