Brockville, ON – The second annual NAPA Auto Parts Brockville, Finish Line Web Design, Brockville Ontario Speedway Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is set for next Saturday, July 27th on NAPA Auto Parts Night at Brockville Speedway.

Last year’s inaugural inductees Marcel Lafrance, Tony Blake, Dave Heaslip and Bob Lodge will be joined by another great group of ambassadors that have helped shape Brockville Speedway to what it is today.  While the actual inductees will not be announced until the night of the ceremony, we can tell you that we had 35 nominees that came in through the Brockville Speedway Facebook page in the weeks leading up to the voting process on the brockvillespeedway.com website.  Nearly 500 votes came in over the two week process.  There will be five members added to the Hall of Fame for 2013.

There were plenty of worthy nominees for this year’s induction into the Brockville Speedway Hall of Fame.  Our selection for this years ceremony was based on the top three from the fan vote, as well as two other selections that we feel have solidified there mark in the history of Brockville Ontario Speedway and deserve recognition for their dedication and commitment to racing in this area.  Just some of names that were nominated (in no particular order) are Pat O’Brien, Pat O’Brien Sr., Danny O’Brien, Denzil Billings, “Stock Car” Steve Bilow, “Barefoot” Bob McCreadie, Tony Corcoran, Mark Hitchcock Keith and Ford Dingwall and many more great names that make up the history of our track.

Please join us on Saturday, July 27th as we induct another great group of racer’s and contributors to the NAPA Auto Parts, Finish Line Web Design, Brockville Ontario Speedway Hall of Fame.
