June 22, 2013- After getting the win just one week ago with Gino Clair at Autodrome Granby Lafrance Performance was hoping to make it another fantastic weekend as they provide the power behind several different cars on various tracks throughout the Ontario, Quebec and New York State area.

For the second week in a row, Lafrance Performance provided the Modified race winner with the power to get victory lane, Alain Boisvert claimed his first win of the 2013 season.  Gino Clair in fifth place and Yan Bussiere in 10th also had strong performances with Lafrance power under the hood at Granby.

The success of Lafrance Performance also occurred at Mohawk Raceway and Cornwall Speedway on the weekend as Chris Raabe picked up top five finishes at both tracks.  Yan Bussiere also scored a top 10 at Cornwall Speedway.

By winning Friday night’s race at Autodrome Granby and taking the point lead, we would like to send our congratulations to Alain Boisvert and name him our Lafrance Performance Driver of the Week.

Lafrance Performance is the place to call for all your performance engine building needs.  His racing engines have made it to victory lane over 400 times through the Northeastern United States and Canada.  Yves Lafrance can build a racing engine for Kart racing to Tractor Pulling and anything in between.  He specializes in V8 engines.  In addition to having more then 25 years of engine building experience (including three years in NASCAR), Yves also has 10 years of knowledge working with an engine dynometre and conveniently has one at his Summerstown, Ontario shop.

For more information on Lafrance Performance and Yves Lafrance, please visit our website, www.lafranceperformance.com.
