ST. CATHARINES, ON – Team BRP drivers continue to win more features than any other Chassis Manufacturer in Big Block Modified … 358 Modified or Sportsman in DIRTcar … RoC and everything in between.
The first win of the new season saw David Clark in Victory Lane at the Lucas Oil Speedway in Lismore Australia building all season to quite a statement at NAPA Auto Parts Super DIRT Week in Syracuse NY where Team BRP Drivers swept not only the Fast Time Awards but Heat Wins and Futures Events in the DIRTcar Sportsman, 358 and Big Block Modified Divisions with the end result – more than 700 wins in 2012.
Those impressive feature win totals led to 47 Track Championships and Series Titles at season’s end including Matt Sheppard becoming the first driver to win 3 straight Mr. DIRTcar Big Block Modified Titles – certainly an exclamation point to Cody McPherson earning his first career Sportsman Mr. DIRTcar Title in October. That same month Jeff Crambo and Danny Johnson earned the 2012 Race of Champions Dirt Sportsman and Modified Tour Titles while Brian Weaver took home the BRP Modified Tour Championship.
The common factor for all these successes – the BRP Chassis. Racers are taking notice as in 2012 – 190 new 2012x Cars were produced, an increase of almost 10% from 2011.
Race teams from across the Northeast looking to get a head start on the 2013 Season are invited to the annual Bicknell Racing Products Open House Saturday January 12th at the St. Catharines Ontario manufacturing and retail headquarters beginning at 9 PM.
“At BRP … customer service is a priority,” relayed Bicknell Racing Products’ Randy Williamson, “our support doesn’t stop once the sale is made … whether it’s leading up to new season … week in and week out during the summer … or at a Series event … we’ll do what it takes to help.”
FREE Seminars will begin at 10 PM. Presenters will soon be announced with topics covering driver safety, Chassis and Components trouble shooting and others hosted by leading manufacturers and suppliers and company representatives.
Numerous one day specials in conjunction with their family of suppliers will be available in addition to a FREE Lunch.
“It’s always an amazing day,” revealed Bicknell Racing Products’ Bob Slack, “it’s nice to see our customers that we don’t see all the time … Canadian and American … dirt or asphalt!”
For more than 25 years, the BRP Chassis has been the leader in Northeast Modified and Sportsman manufacturing but under Slack’s direction, leading edge technology has led to a reengineering and expansion of product lines with components applicable to Sprint Car and Late Model and asphalt oval applications alike now available.
Drivers from all forms of the sport that raced in 2012 will want to attend the one day event as new for 2013 … anyone will be eligible to win a 2013x Bicknell Racing Products Frame.
“Our customers compete in a wide variety of divisions,” prides Pete Bicknell, “ from entry level weekend warriors to professionals … we can’t thank everyone enough – drivers, car owners, crew members and team sponsors – by opening the draw to any racer … maybe it will help advance someone’s career.”
