The Cannington, ON youngster impressed in practice and qualifying, setting the stage for his dominance in the 20-lap feature event.
“This car was great right off the hauler”, explained DiBello. “My guys gave me a fantastic setup tonight. My sponsors have given me an incredible package this season. I couldn’t ask for anything more”
DiBello started outside pole in the 20-lap event, capturing the lead on lap-1 and refusing to look back, turning away a number of late-race challenges.
“Nobody was going to take this one from me tonight”, said DiBello. “We’ve been hungry for our first win since our first night in a Thunder Car. I’ve played it out a million times in my head, but I never thought it would work out this perfect”
