MAPLE, ONTARIO (March 20, 2015) – Although he has not raced for several years, this upcoming season will be not only a return to drag racing but the first for Pro Biker Angelo Falzone in the Pro Bike & Sled Series presented by Wiseco Performance Products.
“I decided to get back into it,” said Falzone, who will be entering the PBSS after taking some time away from the sport. “I plan at first to go slow and easy. I am kind of rusty but I am going to be doing lots of testing and polishing up on my skills.”
The Falzone Racing machine is a 1994 Suzuki RF900 R motorcycle, running a 1260-cc Suzuki engine which sits in the PMFR chassis. The bike runs a carburetor fuel system and a five-speed transmission.
Crew chief for the effort is Mike Henriques, and the rest of the crew includes Lou Falzone, Peter Leuchter, Christian Falzone, and Talon Leuchter.
Sponsor support comes from Quality Automotive, Absolute Logistic Solutions, and ABS Express.
Falzone mentioned he has appreciated the support from friend and fellow PBSS competitor John Orfanidis. Much of the work on the Suzuki has been performed with the help of Orfanidis.
“Most of the major work and tuning has been with the help of John,” he mentioned. “I want to convey my tremendous gratitude for his help. We are ready to go out to the track and enjoy ourselves, win or lose. It is a great friendly family environment.”
The PBSS presented by Wiseco Performance Products, www.PBSS.ca now in its fifth year of operation, competes with the Quick 32 Sportsman Series, www.Quick32.ca providing an exciting and colorful package of drag racing action.
