@PtboSpeedway • @OSCAARRacing • PETERBOROUGH, ON (August 3, 2015) — A.J. Emms had a promising run going at Peterborough Speedway, but it was cut short as a result of a mechanical breakage.
Emms would start off the feature solidly, keeping himself in contention for a good finish. However, partway through the feature, the rear hub would blow, causing the tire to fly off and his night to end prematurely at Peterborough Speedway.
It certainly marked a disappointment for the rookie after posting three top-10s, including a fifth place finish, in the first five races thus far this season. He had entered Peterborough sitting seventh in points.
Emms will hope to turn things around in a couple weeks when the Hoosier OSCAAR Modifieds return to Sunset Speedway for the fourth time this season on August 22.
