(June 27, 2019), Milverton, ON: 22 Racing take to the road this weekend and head out of province for the first time in 2019. Event number three of the 2019 NASCAR Pinty’s Series will take place at Autodrome Chaudiere on Saturday night.

The Autodrome Chaudiere facility is a ¼ mile high banked oval that always attracts a large and enthusiastic crowd. The event known as the Budweiser 300, is 300 laps of action and is always good for some racing battles and rivalries as everyone challenges for those podium positions at the end.

Donald Theetge driver of the #24 Mercedes-Benz/Circuit Acura entry out of 22 Racing has his sites set on the top step of the podium. With three previous starts here in the NASCAR Pinty’s Series, he has not finished outside of the top 5 but has yet to notch the win. Theetge considers this his home track and nothing would make him happier than grabbing the checkered flag in front of family and friends.

Marc-Antoine Camirand driver of the #22 GM Paille Chevrolet Camaro will make his third start at the ¼ mile bullring this weekend and while he has only one top ten in two previous starts look for him to be running at the front of the pack all night. Camirand while deemed to be a road racing veteran showed last season that he is no slouch on the ovals either.

Alex Tagliani driver of the #18 Rona/Epi-Pen Chevrolet will make his 6th career start here in the NASCAR Pinty’s Series. He has recorded three top ten finishes with a third in 2016 being his best finish to date. Tagliani looks to move up on the podium at this weekends event.

The Budweiser 300, event number three on the thirteen race NASCAR Pinty’s Series schedule will take place on Saturday June 29th at Autodrome Chaudiere in Valle-Jonction Quebec. Practice takes place at 11;20 a.m., followed by qualifying at 2:35 p.m. and the green flag waves at 5:30 p.m.
