STROUD, ON (August 14, 2017)- Battling an ill-handling midget, Wally Wilson completed the full distance on Saturday night en route to a top-20 finish at Sunset Speedway.
Wilson started off the night by placing 10th in his first heat, followed by a ninth in second qualifier.
Starting 17th for the feature, Wilson fell back a couple spots to 20th on the drop of the green flag, though avoided getting caught up in the Lap 2 wreck to move up to 15th. From there on, he battled hard throughout the rest of the feature, though bouncing around a bit, he fell back a couple spots to cross the finish line in 17th.
Wally Wilson and company would like to thank all the fans that came out during the autograph session as it was great meeting everybody to the point there were no hero cards left over by the end.
There’s no rest for Wally Wilson Racing, as Wilson will be back behind the wheel of his familiar OSCAAR Modified this weekend at Sauble Speedway on Saturday, August 19. There is also a possibility that his midget will make an appearance, as well, as part of the event.
Wally Wilson Racing is proud to be supported by Have1.com and The Fyre Place & Patio Shop this season. He is also a proud supporter of #BurnOutTheBully and Laps for Muscular Dystrophy.
