GUELPH, ON (March 24, 2020)- The purpose of this message is to update VARAC members and friends about what is happening with the 2020 VARAC racing schedule.

At this time no changes have been announced to the schedule as posted on the VARAC website.

https://varac.ca/events/

As you know the majority of our events are not organized by VARAC directly, we are simply participants. As the organizers provide us with new information we will see that it is forwarded to our members.

In regards to the 2020 VARAC Vintage Grand Prix being held June 18-21 on the Mosport Grand Prix Track at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park – the event is still a GO.

Preregistration remains open and no entrants will be charged entry fees before June 1. By that time we will have a definitive answer as to whether or not we can proceed. We are hopeful that because our event is three months away some degree of normalcy will have returned. Time will tell if that is true.

Thank you for your continued support and participation in vintage racing. These are trying times, but if vintage racers are anything they are optimistic – 50 year old cars, 60+ year old drivers, we’ve got to be some of the most hopeful people on the planet…

Here’s hoping we see you at the track!
