CAYUGA, ON – Toronto Motorsports Park (TMP) is excited to welcome back racers and fans to the track just in time for Canada Day. This marks the first time since March 2020 that spectators are permitted to attend live motor racing at Toronto Motorsports Park in Cayuga.
“We are thrilled to be able to open our gates on July 1st to our loyal fans who have stuck with us and supported us through these challenging times,” said owner, Uli Bieri, “And with the size of the property being just under 400 acres we will be able to accommodate newcomers that are looking for an exciting place to camp and watch some amazing racing.”
The main feature will be ‘Hell Fire Jet Truck,’ a fan favourite. It is powered by a massive General Electric J-79, the largest jet engine allowed in drag racing. This jet truck is capable of speeds over 220 mph.
There will also be a full line-up of racers who have been anxious to return to the track including: Pro/Mod, Top Sportsman, Top Dragster, Sportsman Classes and CJR Performance Shootout. In addition to the racing, there will be a fireworks display, trackside bar and music.
Gates will open on Thursday, July 1st at 12pm to all campers and racers, and a full schedule of events will be listed on our website here: www.torontomotorsportspark.com.
Bieri continued, “Our goal is to deliver the best event possible in the short time we had to plan it. I think it is safe to say that everyone is looking forward to seeing some great racing action. We thank all of our fans, racers, and partners for their continued support and look forward to seeing everyone at the track.”
Tickets will be available at the gate. For more information, call 1-866-824-RACE (7223), email info@torontomotorsportspark.com or visit www.torontomotorsportspark.com.
