10:30 – 11:30 a.m. CANADIAN YOUNG GUNS: Up and coming Canadian short track and road racers take part in an on-stage session talking about their careers, plans and dreams.
12:00 – 12:40 p.m. CARL EDWARDS Q&A: NASCAR Star Carl Edwards will take to the Mazda Stage for a Q&A with the fans. Find out what ‘Cousin’ Carl thinks about coming close to winning in all in 2011 and what he expects in 2012. Qualifying for the Daytona 500 takes place just one week after the CME!
12:40 – 1:40 p.m. CARL EDWARDS AUTOGRAPH SESSION: A limited number of lucky fans will be able to get an autograph from one of NASCAR’s biggest stars. Watch for details on how you can be one of them!
2:00 – 2:30 p.m. MAZDA CANADA ANNOUNCEMENT: Mazda Canada officials take to the stage to unveil some exciting news that will impact Canadian grassroots road racing.
2:45 – 3:45 p.m. RON FELLOWS: Canadian racing legend Ron Fellows talks about his career, his racing plans for the upcoming summer and what fans can expect at Mosport in 2012 and beyond. He’ll be joined by Canadian Tire Automotive VP Allan MacDonald to discuss yesterday’s news that Mosport has been renamed Canadian Tire Motorsports Park. As well, Ron will welcome rising Canadian road racing star Robert Wickens.
4:00 – 5:30 p.m. MEET THE MEDIA FAN FORUM: If you’ve missed the recent UFC or WWE battles, you can get your fill of conflict by catching the Meet the Media Fan Forum on the Mazda Stage at the CME. Erik Tomas, Norris McDonald, Dean McNulty, Jeff Pappone, Todd Lewis and acclaimed F1 journalist Gerald Donaldson will discuss current motorsports events in a 90-minute battle royale!
5:45 – 6:45 p.m. ROBERT YATES Q&A: Legendary NASCAR team owner and engine builder Robert Yates will be appearing at the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series hauler on Saturday at the CME. But on Saturday afternoon, Yates will take to to the Mazda Stage to chat with the fans about his championships, drivers, career and current events. Robert will also be signing autographs today at the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series hauler, at 10:40 and 4 p.m.
7:15 – 8:30 p.m. INSIDE TRACK READERS’ CHOICE AWARDS: Readers of Inside Track Motorsport News recently filled out almost 10,000 ballots, casting their votes to indentify Canada’s top and future racing stars in a variety of racing disciplines. Be at the Mazda Stage at 7:15 p.m. to find out who won.

10:30 – 11:00 a.m. TRAILER TOWING, REGULATIONS & SAFETY: For most kinds of racing, a trailer and tow vehicle are necessary when it comes to and from the racetrack. Cory Adams will provide attendees with information about hauling trailers and the documents that may be required. He will also discuss annual inspection stickers and when they are required, CVOR registration, class of licences, weight requirements and RVs.
11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. RANDY LAJOIE: More than a decade ago, two-time NASCAR Busch Series champion Randy Lajoie had an idea that turned into a dream. LaJoie began manufacturing seats for race cars.
