@Merrittville •June 15, 2016 THOROLD, ONTARIO – The string of first time 2016 winners continued June 14th Merrittville Speedway with three Lucas Oil Weekly Karting Series Drivers visiting St. Catharines Discount Auto Parts Victory Lane.
Madelyn Goulding – daughter of 2015 Van Raine Construction 4 Cylinder Champion and Kart Racer Rob Goulding won her first ever Feature. Goulding is a rookie in the Tim Phillips Garage St. Catharines Discount Auto Parts Novice 2 Division.
Also winning their first features were Owen Kaiser in the RCM Racing Equipment Junior 1 Division and Joey Priestley in the Ed MacPherson Construction Junior 2 Division.
In other Performance Manufacturing Divisional action – two drivers notched their third wins of the season – Nigel Pendyoski and Dalton Slack. Pendykoski would take home top honors in the Vansickle Pet Valu Novice 1 Division while Slack’s win came in the Superior PetroFuels Junior Restricted Division.
Rounding out the Feature Winners were two 4 time winners – Travis Majuery in the Wilder Racing Engines Senior Animal Division and Paul Lindberg in the Cassell Manufacturing Senior Fun Class.
Kart Racing continues Tuesday June 21st. Pits Open at 5:30 and when the racing starts at 7 PM – Grandstand Admission is FREE.
