NASCAR Canadian Tire Series racer David Thorndyke announced the addition of a new primary sponsor for the 2013 racing season. Again this season Thorndyke will run a partial schedule consisting of road course events and drive the #67 LubeSource Chevrolet.
“We’re thrilled to welcome LubeSource as a partner with our program” said Thorndyke.
Working hard the last few seasons with son and Crew Chief Adam Thorndyke the team has made positive strides improving performance and with the addition of a new team partner they see even bigger things ahead.
“Having additional support from LubeSource will help us take the next step” stated Thorndyke.
The #67 LubeSource team has already been busy preparing for the upcoming season preparing the car for the first event next month. In addition Thorndyke will be on track for a testing session in advance of the first race.
“We want to have a test day to make sure everything is ready for the start of the season so we’ll be able to try a few things and be better prepared for the first race of the year” explained Thorndyke.
David Thorndyke and the #67 LubeSource Chevrolet team will open the season May 19th at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park near Bowmanville, ON. For more NASCAR Canadian Tire Series information log onto www.nascar.ca and to learn more about the #67 LubeSource Chevy team go to www.promotiveracing.com
