@Sunset_Speedway • Stroud, ON (May 9, 2015)- Following a disappointing run last weekend, the NFC Motorsports team went to work during the week. Their hard work would pay off as Terry Woodley finished Saturday night’s feature in eighth spot.
Woodley started off the night with a fifth place finish in his heat, automatically qualifying him for the feature later on. He would then finish 10th in the fast qualifer’s dash.
Following the redraw for the feature, Woodley would start the 25-lap affair from the ninth spot. He would begin his climb to the front, moving up to the sixth spot by the first caution at lap five. He would get alongside Miles Tyson on the restart for fifth and stayed there for numerous laps, but unfortunately wasn’t able to make the pass. He would then fall back to sixth before the second caution at lap 14 for a spin by Jake Watson.
Woodley continued to run strong throughout the final 10 laps of the feature, and would cross the line in eighth for his first top-10 finish of the year.
