SOREL-TRACY, QC — Team ONE and GM Paillé reaffirm their commitment to excellence and look firmly to the future as their 2025 season wraps up this weekend. Félix Roy will take the wheel of the ONE Modified car for a busy program in Middletown, NY, going up against the top contenders in the discipline. GM Paillé also confirms it is renewing its partnership for 2026 with Quebec’s most decorated dirt racing team.
Founded in 1977 by Serge Desjardins and Gaétan Beauregard, Team ONE will begin its 49th season on dirt ovals in 2026, with a new primary driver at the wheel of the ONE Paillé Course//Racing Modified.

“Unity within our team is what has driven our success for nearly 50 years. Our partners, friends and fans have supported us for a long time, and we want to give them a clear vision that allows all of us to aim for top honours again next year. We will move quickly to identify the driver who will take the wheel of the ONE in 2026. We won’t wait until spring to announce our plans for next season,” said Alexandre Voghel, co-owner of Team ONE.
“Some members of our team have been here since the very beginning, and the values passed down by our founders still motivate us today to raise our own standards. Team spirit and a shared commitment to excellence keep pushing us to give our best to win,” Mr. Voghel added.
These values are shared by GM Paillé, which is renewing its partnership with Team ONE for next season. “Our commitment to motorsport is strong, and it’s only natural for us to partner with a team that shares a family spirit and the same vision of excellence,” said Jean-Claude Paillé, President of GM Paillé.
In the near term, Team ONE will conclude its season this weekend at Orange County Fair Speedway in Middletown, NY, competing against the most accomplished teams in North America.
Félix Roy will be at the wheel in three categories. On Thursday, the team will take part in the Short Track Super Series event, then compete in 358 Modified and Big-Block Modified through Sunday. “We want to finish our 2025 season on a strong note, and we’ll put in all the necessary effort to perform in a very competitive field. We’d also like to thank Félix Roy for closing out the season with us,” Mr. Voghel concluded.
