@41holdaway •@Sunset_Speedway • ORILLIA, Ont. (March 24, 2016) – Taylor Holdaway and Holdaway Motorsports are proud to announce a new partnership with Bay Auto and Truck Parts for the 2016 racing season.

The sponsorship agreement will make Bay Auto and Truck Parts the primary sponsor on Holdaway’s No.41 Toyota Camry Limited Late Model at Sunset Speedway. Bay Automotive joins a growing list of corporate supporters for Holdaway’s team, including KartSTART presented by Toyota, Yamaha Canada, Joes Racing Products, Image Factor Motorsports Designs, Wix Filters, Castrol Canada, Sunshine Super Wash and Stefko Racing Engines.

With three locations in Barrie, Orillia and Innisfil, Bay Auto and Truck Parts is a leading parts distributor in the Simcoe region. Bay Auto and Truck Parts offers high-quality aftermarket parts to several leading automotive maintenance and body shops servicing Barrie, Orillia, Innisfil and the surrounding area.

Holdaway Automotive, owned by Taylor’s father Fred Holdaway, is also located in Orillia and has been servicing vehicles with Bay Auto and Truck Parts for over 25 years.

“With our shop based out of Orillia and racing in Innisfil, it promotes their business perfectly throughout the region they service,” said Taylor Holdaway. “To have Bay Auto come on board, it’s big for our race team, but it’s big for me to have the opportunity to promote their business.”

Kent Leef operates Bay Auto’s Orillia location and has had both a working and personal relationship with the Holdaway’s for over 25 years. The familiarity between the two partners makes the opportunity even more special.

“We’ve seen Taylor grow from a little guy to where he is now. In everything he’s done, he’s done well in it. That’s a tribute to him and Fred,” said Leef on behalf of Bay Auto.

The professional nature of Holdaway’s team made it a natural choice for Bay Auto and Truck Parts to support the championship winning team in their quest for a repeat performance this summer.

“Taylor and Fred have taken it to a higher level. They’re very serious about racing. It’s the same mentality they have for their business: they strive to be the best,” added Leef.

The addition of Bay Auto and Truck Parts to the Holdaway Motorsports team is a significant enhancement following the high of last season’s success.

“To have Bay Auto and Truck Parts see the success we had and want to be a part of our success moving forward is a confidence booster. It’s going to be a great partnership for both of us,” said Taylor Holdaway.

The team is eager to hit the track and begin testing the Bay Auto and Truck Parts No.41 Toyota Camry in preparation for the 2016 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Season Opener at Sunset Speedway on April 30.
