ORLANDO, FL – John Force, Humpy Wheeler and Scott Bloomquist will join representatives from Google, eBay Motors and more to help make the 25th Annual Performance Racing Industry Trade Show and Race Industry Week 2012 an unforgettable experience.
More race-winning parts, more racing professionals, and more star power than any racing business event anywhere–the 25th Annual Performance Racing Industry Trade Show and Race Industry Week 2012 are bringing together some of the biggest names in racing and business today.
Several of today’s iconic personalities and brands will join 1000 of the industry’s leading suppliers and tens of thousands of buyers from around the world in Orlando, Florida, for Race Industry Week, which kicks off November 26, 2012, and culminates in the three biggest business days in racing–the PRI Trade Show, November 29-December 1, 2012.
“The caliber of speakers at the PRI Trade Show events this year is extraordinary. They bring insights, experience and expertise to share with racing entrepreneurs seeking the best way to navigate in these challenging times,” said John Kilroy, producer of the PRI Trade Show. “When you add in the 1000 racing companies with their latest product lines on display, the 25th Annual PRI Trade Show is a ‘can’t miss’ event for anyone who makes a living in racing today.”
Internet giant Google heads the list of top-flight companies and individual presenters–including Constant Contact, eBay Motors, and Camee Edelbrock from Schiefer Media–taking part in the inaugural “Winning the eRace” digital marketing conference, a day-long seminar designed to bring racing professionals up to speed on the powerful online services and capabilities currently available. Featuring multiple speakers in a dynamic, interactive setting, the seminar takes place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, November 28, 2012, in the North/South building of the Orange County Convention Center. The seminar is free to registered Trade Show attendees.
Legendary race promoter Humpy Wheeler leads a stellar lineup of speakers at the inaugural Race Track Business Conference 2012, which also takes place Wednesday, November 28, 2012, as part of Race Industry Week in Orlando. Wheeler, a member of several halls of fame and the unquestioned master of modern-day race promotion, joins industry leaders from across the world of racing to provide insights on issues facing motorsports professionals on and off the track, from event operations to social media, financing to legal issues, and much more.
As in previous years, the 25th Annual PRI Trade Show kicks off with a treasured racing industry tradition–the Grand Opening Breakfast. Once again, SPEED TV personality Dave Despain will present a live version of his popular Wind Tunnel program during the Breakfast, which begins at 8:00 a.m. sharp on Thursday, November 29, 2012. And joining Despain this year is none other than John Force, the 15-Time NHRA Full Throttle Funny Car Champion and driver of the Castrol GTX High Mileage Ford Mustang, who rewrote the history of NHRA drag racing even beyond his track championships.
“The Grand Opening Breakfast of the PRI Trade Show has a real heritage in the racing industry, and this year’s event is shaping up to be one of the best,” said Kilroy. “When you put a great champion and major racing personality like John Force on stage with a great interviewer like Dave Despain, the audience is in for something very special.”
Top dirt late model teams will get a unique opportunity to hone their chassis tuning skills in yet another new seminar at the 2012 PRI Trade Show. “Winning Setup Strategies For Dirt Late Models” is being organized by Dick Berggren, longtime NASCAR pit reporter for FOX TV and founder of Speedway Illustrated magazine, and Karl Fredrickson, Speedway Illustrated publisher, and features an all-star panel including National Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer Scott Bloomquist and 2011 World of Outlaws Late Model Champion Rick Eckert. The seminar begins at 8:00 a.m. Friday, November 30, 2012, at the Orange County Convention Center.
