May 24- Delaware Speedway: Dorchester, ON’s Jamie Cox picked up his 2nd straight Late Model victory at Delaware on Friday night. The former 9-time Delaware Open Wheel Modified champion held off Matt Pritiko for the victory, to further solidify his spot at the top of the point standings. Pritiko would claim second, with NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour regular Cole Powell, Stephen Richmond and Shawn Thompson rounding out the top-5.
Kenny McNicol held off Week 1 winner Matt Robblee in the Super Stock division feature event. Darrell Lake completed the top-3, followed by Shae Gemmell and Jeff Showler.
Steve Book won the first V8 Stock feature of 2013.
May 25th-Barrie Speedway: Former OSCAAR Super Late Model Tour regular Ian Bourque captured the first of Barrie Speedway’s twin-30 lap Limited Late Model features, sophomore Thayne Hallyburton captured his second win of the season in the back-half of the evening’s doubleshot.
In Thunder Car action, points leader Darryl St. Onge took his third victory in four starts, while Adam Misener took top honours in the Pure Stock division.
May 25- Canadian Tire Motorsports Park: After an Open Wheel Modified win on opening night, Darren Kearnan continued his winning ways on Night 2 of the CTMP season with a Limited Late Model triumph.
Former Kawartha regular Howie Crowe captured his first Thunder Car feature as a CTMP regular, and multi-time champion Dwight Brown won the Open Wheel Modified A-Main.
May 25- Flamboro Speedway: Multi-time champion Paul Howse took top honours in Flamboro’s Late Model division on May 25th, it would mark the Hillsburgh, ON veteran’s first win of 2013. Night 1 winner Shawn Chenoweth, Steve Laking, Jason Shaw and Dale Shaw would complete the top-5.
Kevin Gallant would win his second Thunder Car feature in a row while Dave Bailey captured feature victory in the Mini Stocks.
May 25- Peterborough Speedway: Former track champion Craig Graham held off defending Peterborough champion Bryan Sudsbury for his first Limited Late Model feature win of the 2013 season. Graham, a former Kawartha Speedway regular, will compete fulltime at Peterborough this season. Kelly Balson, making his 2013 debut, would complete the top-3, followed by Week-1 winner Chris Mitchell and Mini Stock graduate Jack Horner.
Farm Bro. Racing representative Ryan Babin would take the Mini Stock feature, Bill O’Harra would claim his second straight Renegade Trucks feature win and former OSCAAR Super Late Model regular Stu Robinson Jr. would sub for Donny Beatty in the Thunder Car event – claiming the first career feature win for the driver/crew chief combination.
May 25- Sauble Speedway: Former Limited Late Model track champion Jason Parker returned to Sauble victory lane on May 25th. ‘The New Age Punisher’ has now claimed victory in all 3 of Sauble’s LLM events in 2013. Sophomore Nick Goetz would lead a number of laps and hold on for a 2nd place finish, while Tom Gibbons, defending champion Scott McTeer and ‘Marvellous’ Marvin Freiburger would round out the top-5.
In the Thunder Car division, Sauble mainstay Ken Grubb logged his first feature win of the season, followed by former division champion Todd Davenport, reigning Autumn Colours Classic champion Joe Adams, Vaughn Lawrence and ‘Speedin’ Chad Eden.
Kevin Bridge won the Mini Stock feature and Zack Casemore took the Street Stock event.
May 25- Sunset Speedway: Former NASCAR Canadian Tire Series regular Anthony Simone survived a torrid late-race battle with divisional points leader Mike ‘Lights Out’ Bentley to win his first career Limited Late Model feature at Sunset Speedway on May 25th. The pair would make heavy contact through the final 2 laps of the event, with Simone edging Bentley at the line by the narrowest of margins. ‘Hollywood’ Taylor Holdaway would overcome his 3-weeks of poor fortune with a 3rd place finish, with ‘The Instant Classic’ Andy Kamrath and defending champion Stompin’ Tom Walters completing the top-5. In the Super Stock division, Randy ‘The Rocket’ Rusnell sealed his 4th straight feature win, after leader Lane Zardo was involved in a last-lap altercation with a lapped car. Warren Paxton would win his 3rd Mini Stock feature in 4 starts to close out the evening.
May 25- Varney Speedway: Former champion Cole Weber toppled a 12-car field for his first Limited Late Model feature win of the 2013 season.
May 25- Ontario Pro Challenge Series: Defending champion Tim Norris won Round 2 of the Pro Challenge Series season on Saturday night at Flamboro. Multi-time series champion Dennis Thomson finished 2nd, Josh Nicholson, Ken Nicholson and Kyle Batty completed the top-5.
May 25- Ontario Legends Series: 2-time Ontario Legends Series champion Adam Cuthbertson won the May 25th feature event at Barrie Speedway.
