Moncton, NB – (August 27, 2022) Craig Slaunwhite (Terence Bay, NS) picked up his fourth win of the season at Petty International Raceway this evening. Slaunwhite took the lead on lap 64 from Russell Smith Jr (Lakeside, NS) and never looked back.
Nicholas Naugle (Dartmouth, NS) ran at the front of the pack all day and brought home a second-place finish. Darren MacKinnon (Charlottetown, PE) returns to Victory Lane taking the final spot on the podium. Russell Smith Jr who led the first portion of the race came home fourth, followed by John Rankin (Saint Martins, NB) in fifth.
Greg Proude (Springvale, PE) and Jarrett Butcher (Porters Lake, NS) won their Atlantic Tiltload heat races which set the field for the Cummins 150. Slaunwhite won the R&D Performancentre Most Laps Led award. Ryan VanOirschot (Antigonish, NS) was the Kenny U-Pull Hard Charger, while Mark LeClair (Brackley Beach, PE) took home the Fleet Brake Atlantic Lucky Dog award.
Next up for the Pro Stock Tour is the East Coast International 150 at Riverside International Speedway on September 10th at 4:00pm. Ticket are on sale now at www.RiversideSpeedway.ca and will be available at the gates on race day.
