GRAND PRAIRIE, ALBERTA – The 2013 season has been phenomenal for Benjamin Silliker and the Team Silco racing team.  The eight year old driver found victory lane 25 times this season in 73 starts, and has put together a very impressive record that includes four championships along the way.  In fact, out of 73 events this season, Ben raced his way to 72 top 10 finishes including 61 top five results.  Silliker also set seven new track records amongst various divisions.

A second member of the Silliker family is just starting out in racing, following the footsteps of his brother.  Alex completed in the final event at Langley as well, placing second in his B-Main qualifier, and taking home a solid fifth place effort in the A-main this past weekend.

There are still some big events coming up on the schedule for Benjamin Silliker and the Team Silco team.  They just purchased a new 600 quarter midget, and will be testing that car over the next couple weeks.  They will then attend the Region 9 awards banquet in Lynnwood, Washington on October 5th. The following week, the team will be doing some testing at Langley, and will be back on the track in Yakima, Washington for the Dual in the Desert event that weekend, followed the final event of the season in December at the New Orleans Casino in Las Vegas for the Winter Nationals.

Benjamin Silliker and the Team Silco Racing team would like to thank all of the marketing partners that have contributed to the success of the team.  These partners include Northstar Energy Services.  All Class Fabrication, Evolution Racing Products, Tan Man Welding, Platinum Grover, Black Dog Drilling & Environmental Services, Pipe & Piling Supplies Ltd., Precise Surveys, Vye Development Ltd., QRC Factory Karts and Locked N Loaded Graphics.

For more information on Team Silco Racing, included driver bios, schedule, results and links to the websites for our Marketing Partners can be found on our brand new website, www.teamsilco.ca.
