Here’s the first look at 2012 OSCAAR Super Late Model tour champion Brandon Watson’s entry for the December 2nd running of the famed Snowball Derby. The 300-lap event will pit the Stayner, ON prodigy against some of the top talent from the Super Late Model world and beyond.

With Derby weekend only 14 days away, the entry list reads like a murderer’s row of short track talent including two-time Derby champion Augie Grill, defending champion Chase Elliott, multi-time CRA Super Series champion Johnny Van Doorn, 2012 New Smyrna World Series champion Kyle Benjamin, 2012 JEGS All-Star Tour champion Daniel Hemric and 2012 All American 400 champion Ross Kenseth.

In addition, the race has also attracted entries from some of NASCAR’s best and brightest including former Derby titlist Kyle Busch, Aric Almirola, Johanna Long, David Ragan, Landon Cassill and Steven Wallace.

Watson’s team will depart their Stayner-area shop on November 26th, with a scheduled arrival in Pensacola slated for November 28th. From there, the team will have two full days to become acquainted with 5 Flags Speedway’s notoriously unforgiving and abrasive surface before time trials on November 30th.
