London, ON (September 19, 2017) – It isn’t the first time that Pete Shepherd III has ran back-to-back events in two different divisions, and it likely will not be the last time. The London Ontario resident is set to run the Jukasa Fall Brawl presented by McColl Racing Enterprises on Saturday September 23, and then follow up with his first start ever start at Sunset Speedway in the Fast Eddie Super Late Model division during the Velocity 250 weekend on Sunday September 24th.
Shepherd will be driving the #4 National Exhaust MRE prepared Late Model and Super Late Model over the two day weekend, and he is very excited to get a few more opportunities this season.
“We are chasing wins just like everybody else! We have had some very good finishes, but we want to put an exclamation point at the end of our season. I am proud to represent National Exhaust and I can’t thank Tom Baker enough for his continued support,” stated Shepherd.
Pete III is looking to ride his setup and momentum from his last outing at Jukasa Speedway where he finished second. However Sunset Speedway will be a new opportunity for the veteran racer.
“I am fortunate to be racing at two of the nicest facilities in Ontario this weekend. Sunset is a place that I’ve wanted to get to since its reconstruction several years ago. My family spends a lot of time there during their weekly shows, so it means a lot to finally turn some laps there,” Shepherd said.
