SHANNONVILLE, ON – (April 19 2021)- Due to the ongoing and developing COVID-19 situation in Ontario, we regret to announce that the start of the Shannonville Motorsports Park season has been placed on pause while we await further communications from the government amidst the current lockdown. While we are anxious to get back on the track, we value the safety of our competitors and officials to the utmost degree.

“We are devastated to have to postpone the beginning of our season, but we are watching the government’s announcements carefully to ensure a safe and exciting return.” said SMP President John Bondar. “Our fans and competitors are the lifeline of our sport, we miss you all more than ever and we can’t wait to welcome you all back to Shannonville Motorsports Park for an exciting 2021 season.”

The months of April and May had an exciting catalogue of events scheduled, any subsequent cancellations will be announced in the forthcoming weeks. On the bright side, here are a list of the events that will be postponed and rescheduled to a TBC date.

As more events are postponed and rescheduled, fans and competitors can refer to this article for the master list of all these changed dates. Below are the list of the SMP events that are currently in the process of being rescheduled.
