PENTICTON, BC – Seven years after leaving the Okanagan to chase her dreams of professional racing in North Carolina, Sarah Cornett-Ching has partnered with a prominent performance shop in Penticton to run the five race late model schedule at the newly revamped Penticton Speedway. Simpson Racing Solutions will be the primary marketing partner on the car for the first three events of the season.

Sarah has had the opportunity to race at many prestigious tracks on the NASCAR circuit. Daytona, Talladega, Michigan, Chicagoland, Pocono, Bristol to name a few. She says there is just something special about coming back to race at the track where she grew up racing.

“I can’t express enough my excitement to come back to race at Penticton Speedway, the memories I have there are so special to me. Not just being at the track again but having my dad shoulder to shoulder with me again is something you just can’t replicate.” Says Sarah

Sarah will be partnering with Simpson Racing Solutions in Penticton for the first 3 events of the season.

“Partnering with Chris at Simpson Racing Solutions is the perfect fit because he offers all the services in Penticton that we would have down in North Carolina to get the most out of our race cars. We will be taking advantage of tuning our car for the different climate and altitude on his chassis dyno as soon as we get there.”

Sarah will be racing at Penticton Speedway on June 18th, July 30th 31st, September 10th and October 2nd. Tickets for these races are $20 each and if you buy your race ticket from Sarah in advance you will be entered into a drawing for a free t shirt. Sarah will be giving away 10 free shirts per race. Tickets are available at: Simpson Racing Solutions at 2384 Government street and ANJ Automotive at 117 Garnet Way Penticton.
