STROUD, ON (August 2, 2017)- The hard work and continuing to battle hard each week is paying off for Robbie Sikes as the finishes have been getting stronger each week, highlighted by his first top-10 of 2017 on Saturday night at Sunset Speedway.
The St. Onge Recreation Super Stocks started off the night by making up a rained-out feature from June. Starting from the pole, Sikes battled hard throughout the entire 30-lap event, crossing the finish line in 10th for his first top-10 of the season.
Then kicking off the regular night of racing, he would post a pair of sevenths in his qualifying heats. He would then battle hard throughout the entire event despite incidents throughout the entire field, eventually crossing the finish line in 15th.
With the finishes getting stronger each week, Sikes now has five top-15 finishes this season, with a focus on now trying to keep the momentum rolling into the coming weeks.
The Hillbilly Deluxe Racing team is proud to be supported by Lloyds Haulage, Duivenvoorden Haulage, Nitro Industrial, Polished Automotive, ORV Auto, Southview Too, Kings Marine, Bromley Automotive, Jaded Motorsports, Ernie’s Performance, Walt Fab, and Serem Renovations this season.
