Being only the team’s second trip to Sunset Speedway this year and trying out a car that had been purchased in August, the team used the race as a learning experience to discover what the car wanted from them to be stronger. As the race went on, Walt’s lap times did improve and he was running equal to the leaders, however was trapped a couple laps down in the process.
