(Halifax, NS. April 22, 2013) Race Time Radio (RTR) and the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour have inked a deal that will see six races on the 12-race 2013 Tour schedule broadcast on SiriusXM Satellite Radio.

This number is up by two from the previous season when Race Time Radio called races from Riverside International and Scotia Speedworld. The Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour is the only short track stock car racing series in Canada to be broadcast on SiriusXM Satellite Radio. Races will also be broadcast on the web at www.racetimeradio.com.

The broadcasts kick off on Sunday, May 19th with the season opening Lucas Oil 150 at Scotia Speedworld. RTR will return to Scotia Speedworld twice more in 2013, once for the 14th Annual Atlantic CAT 250 on August 10th and on September 14th to close off the season with the Dartmouth Dodge 200. The high banks of Riverside International Raceway will play host to RTR for their season opening Ron MacGillivray Chevrolet Buick GMC 150 on June 15th with the second event coming on July 20th for the coveted IWK 250 Presented by Steve Lewis Auto Body. For the first time, RTR will broadcast a race live from New Brunswick with the Petty Raceway International 150 being spotlighted on August 24th.

Airtimes will be announced as the events draw closer.

“The response we have received from the Race Time Radio broadcasts has been tremendous,” said Tara Foster, Assistant Manager of the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour. “They are allowing us the opportunity to entertain not only our Maritime fans but a national audience. It’s providing great exposure not only for the Tour but also our valued sponsors.”

Race Time Radio is based out of Ontario and includes the broadcast team of Smokin’ Joe Chisholm, his wife Sue and son Joe Chisholm Jr., plus Gerry and Joshua Paxton along with Tim Terry the voice of the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour. Joe and Joe Jr. co-host a pair of weekly motorsports shows streaming live on the internet at www.racetimeradio.com and on SiriusXM on Monday evenings at 9:00 PM Atlantic and 12:00 noon Atlantic on Saturdays.
