(RIVER GLADE, NB – August 2nd, 2020) – Logan Power (Riverview, NB) took the checkered flag first Saturday night at Petty International Raceway in the CannaConnect 35 for the Atlantic Modified Tour. Power, a former Street Stock champion at the high banked bullring, started seventh in the nine car field and chased down Yves McCray (Neguac, NB) for the win, making the winning move on the outside with five laps to go. McCray, the reigning Petty Raceway Modified Champion, was second with sophomore driver Travis Conroy (Miramichi, NB) finishing third.

For Power, who drove the No. 10 entry for Darrell and Greg Butler (Hoyt, NB), it was a challenge against the top drivers in the Atlantic Modified Tour.

“The drivers in this Series are so strong and competitive, you can’t give these guys an inch or you’ll end up losing it,” said Power in victory lane after the CannaConnect 35. “Everyone is so fast, I can’t thank everyone enough for the opportunity.

The CannaConnect 35 was run caution free and took just over 10 minutes to complete. The 10-lap heat race was won by McCray.
