@PorschePrestige • @PorscheCanada •@IMSA •MONTREAL, QUEBEC – Montreal Porsche dealership Porsche Prestige has joined top Canadian Porsche GT3 Cup driver Jesse Lazare for selected rounds of the 2016 Canadian GT3 Cup series, the Ultra 94 Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada by Yokohama.
“I really want to thank Porsche Prestige for joining our effort in 2016,” Lazare said. “This opportunity will allow me to challenge for the North American Cup.”
Lazare has won three of the first four races in the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA by Yokohama. He sits second in the championship only due to a flat tire at the opening Sebring rounds denying him a win in race two. Lazare is looking forward his next outing at his home track of Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve on June 10-12
“Montreal is my home track, and I love racing there as part of the Formula 1 weekend,” Lazare said. “It is the biggest race weekend of the year in Canada. I am happy to represent Porsche Prestige in their hometown.”

Jesse Lazare Quick Facts: Jesse Lazare is a 18-year-old racer from Montreal, Quebec. 2016 is the third year for Lazare in GT3 Cup after a stellar karting career which included three Canadian National Karting Championships along with representing Canada in the Rotax Max World Finals. Lazare finished second in the Porsche GT3 Cup USA series in 2015 and was invited to the Porsche Young Drivers Academy 2015. For 2016, Lazare is once again with the top team in GT3 Cup racing, Kelly-Moss Motorsports.
