@NASCARHomeTrack • #NASCAR Pintys Series •@Pintysfoods •DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (April 6, 2016) — NASCAR Pinty’s Series competitors are no stranger to slip-sliding through the turns of Canada’s short tracks. Thursday a trio of drivers will glide on a completely different surface.
Mark Dilley, D.J. Kennington and Gary Klutt have combined to win 23 NASCAR Pinty’s Series races in their careers. This time they will team up to take on the field of the 4th Annual We Rock Charity Curling Tournament presented by Pinty’s.
The Pinty’s Series drivers and other event participants will receive instruction from Team Homan and Team Jacobs. Both are sponsored Pinty’s Delicious Foods. Team Homan earned back-to-back Canadian Women’s Curling Championship crowns in 2013-14 and currently ranks No. 1 in the world after three Grand Slam titles in 2015. Team Jacobs counts a men’s Olympic Gold medal among its accomplishments.
St. Catharines (Ontario) Golf & Country Club will play host to the event, which benefits Crossing All Bridges Learning Center. The center provides educational opportunities to adults with developmental challenges.
The 2016 NASCAR Pinty’s Series schedule will commence on May 22 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Bowmanville, Ontario. For event and ticket information, please visit canadiantiremotorsportpark.com.
