@pettyraceway_nb • (September 28th, 2016 – River Glade, NB) – The management at Petty International Raceway has announced the completion of the Mike Stevens Memorial presented by R. Stevens Mechanical and Carnahan Property Management weekend that was rescheduled due to rain will be made up on Saturday, October 8th. The racing program will start at Noon, with pit gates opening at 9am and front gates opening for spectators at 10:30am. A complete practice schedule for competitors will be released next week.

The racing event will feature the completion of the Mister Transmission Mini Stock feature from Sunday, September 25th, which had 12 laps of the 50 remaining when the rains came. The Atlantic Modified Tour and Legend divisions will contest their 50-lap features lost due to weather and will have qualifying heat races added to the program. The card will also include non-point features for Bandoleros (20 lap feature), Street Stocks (30 lap feature) along with an additional 25-lap Mini Stock feature.

The Limited Late Model (Sportsman) division completed their heat races on Sunday, September 25th and will conduct their 75-lap feature from the lineup of the finish of their heats. Teams that did not participate in those heat races are welcome to attend, but they will start at the rear of the 75-lap feature.

Following the event will see the Petty International Raceway Recognition Ceremony, which will honor the top five in each of the five point paying divisions at the track from the 2016 season along with the Petty Fan Choice Most Popular Driver and Best Looking Car Award for each class. Fans can vote for their favorite teams to win these awards by heading to PettyFanChoice.com until Tuesday, October 4th.

Those that obtained rain checks from the Sunday, September 25th rain out are reminded that this is the only event those rain checks can be used for. For those without a rain check, adult admission to the grandstands on October 8th is $20, youth admission (ages eight to 18) is $10 while children seven and under are admitted free of charge.
