@pettyraceway_nb • PETITCODIAC, NB – The Maritime Motorsports Hall of Fame (MMHF) will host the 9th annual Petty Auto Fest this Sunday (note: originally announced as Saturday) at the MMHF museum complex. The event has become a favourite stop on the Maritime car show circuit and is an important fundraiser for the MMHF.

Setup begins at 9 a.m. and the first 125 vehicles to register will receive a commemorative dash plaque. Special interest vehicles of any genre are welcome, including (but not limited to) antiques, race cars, muscle cars, rat rods, hot rods, trucks, 4 x 4’s of any configuration, motorcycles, rally cars – essentially anything with a motor.

A washer toss tournament will start at 11 a.m. and open to anyone with the first 16 to register guaranteed a spot in the first tournament, to be followed by a second round, weather permitting.

Admission is just $5; children 10 and under will get in free (when accompanied by an adult). A $5 lunch will be available including turkey, potato salad, cole slaw, and a roll.

More information is available by calling 506.756.2110.
