(Halifax, NS, February 18, 2013) The Maritime Pro Stock Tour is pleased to announce Parts for Trucks will be returning as the series title sponsor for the upcoming season. 2013 marks the third year with Parts for Trucks at the helm of the popular touring series.

Parts for Trucks is the largest distributor of heavy duty truck and trailer parts in Atlantic Canada and has outlets in each of the five Maritime markets the Pro Stock Tour visits. The 2013 schedule includes stops in Halifax, Moncton, Antigonish, Charlottetown and Fredericton. The 12-race season kicks off on Sunday, May 19, at Scotia Speedworld with the Lucas Oil 150.

“We are thrilled to have Parts for Trucks returning as the title sponsor for the Tour, “said Ken Cunning, General Manager of the Maritime Pro Stock Tour. “They have been a tremendous sponsor of the Tour since our inception 13 years ago.  I encourage all race fans to visit a Parts for Trucks location for any of their heavy duty parts and equipment needs as they are valuable supporters of racing in the Maritimes.”

“Parts for Trucks is looking forward to another racing season,” said Rudi Foster, Vice President of Sales for the Atlantic Canadian owned and operated company. “As title sponsor it gives us the opportunity to show our support for this sport and everyone involved. With 15 locations in Atlantic Canada the tour is a great fit for us as we have a branch close to all the stops on the circuit. Racers and race fans have always been loyal to Parts for Trucks and we are looking forward to seeing them all at the tracks again this summer.”
