May 22, 2014- OLD FARTS REUNION V to take place at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park during GLORY DAYS Celebration of Speed – June 28, 2014. The OLD FARTS REUNION is the result of what happens when two of Canada’s prominent Motorsports Personalities get together. Boys just want to have fun!

Bill Brack is one of Canada’s greatest ever racing drivers and multiple Canadian Champion, multiple Formula Atlantic Champion, Formula One, Formula 5000, etc.).

“Allan and I are both looking forward to seeing all the OLD FARTS again this year and I can tell you that I am thrilled that the REUNION will be at Mosport.” said Brack. “We both have a lot of history there and I intend to be making new history out on the GLORY DAYS Hillclimb in the same STP Lotus that I drove to the Formula Atlantic Championships. It is going to be a great weekend for everybody!  I can’t wait to get behind the wheel!”

Together, they started the reunion in 2009 as a way to get former drivers, crew, friends, competitors, volunteers and media back together to tell their assorted lies while they still could. The first four reunions were held in a downtown Toronto hotel during Toronto Indy Week.

Allan commented: “It began as Bill and I and our ‘lovelies’ having dinner together. The idea sprouted into ‘why not see if there are any other ‘old farts’ still alive! We had the name right out of the start! We were pleased with the great response. It gets bigger every year. To return to the track where most of us cut our teeth is a big event for me as I know it is for Bill. I just want to shoot that hill climb! Goodwood, you have a rival in the making!”

Together with GLORY DAYS co-organizer Bob DeShane, Brack and de la Plante confirm that the fifth annual bash will be moving home to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park as part of the GLORY DAYS Celebration of Speed weekend.

The OLD FARTS REUNION is always tons of fun with lots of great stories and friendly banter amongst racers, fans, assorted characters and the media in attendance.

Bob DeShane said: “It is an honour to include the OLD FARTS REUNION in this new event and to welcome the Canadian motor racing legends and veterans of our sport that will come out to attend this annual party. For many, our new event at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park will be a home-coming, a welcome return to the very place that formed the background for their very own “Glory Days” as well as serving as the launching pad for a nation of motorsport fans.”

Glory Days welcomes the OLD FARTS! May the Lovelies be with you!

Be Captured, Be Thrilled, BE THERE!
