ST-EUSTACHE, QC – Kevin Lacroix is getting ready for the third round of the NASCAR Pinty’s season this weekend. Following a pair of races in Ontario, the series is heading to Quebec and the CRS Express 300 at Autodrome Chaudière on Saturday, June 17.
Lacroix will take to the track with the goal of maintaining his championship lead following his win in the opener at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park and a top-five result at Delaware Speedway.
This Saturday will be the first race on Québec soil for the Saint-Eustache driver. Kevin Lacroix is no stranger to the Autodrome Chaudière’s oval since he raced on this track a few times in the past.
“Last year we were very fast on the Autodrome Chaudière’s oval track. We had a bad luck at the beginning of the race, but we had managed to climb back the field to end up 6th. With our new car specially built for ovals, on a track I know, I am very confident for this race,” says Kevin.
Having had a collision with one of his competitors during the last race, Lacroix was not satisfied by his 5th place finish even though he had led the field for a part of the race. It is with the #74 car Bumper To Bumper/ Total/ Go Fast / PFC Brakes/ Gates Corporation prepared by Bumper To Bumper team that Kevin will try to win this 3rd race of the season.
The Autodrome Chaudière is a well-known oval track amongst stock-car drivers. It’s ¼ mile tarmac is the most inclined track in Québec. The NASCAR Pinty’s drivers will be racing there on June 17 for what will be an intense 300-lap race.
Kevin wants to thank his sponsors Bumper to Bumper, Total, Go Fast, PFC Brakes and Gates Corporation, a partnership between growing companies that represent excellency, ambition and victory. “With our championship lead, this will be a great season!” declares the driver.
