SAINT-EUSTACHE, QC – Kevin Lacroix is pleased to unveil his new colours and new partners at the NASCAR Pinty’s Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières this weekend. Lacroix will be commanding the #74 car in NAPA Auto Parts and Valvoline colours.
“This is a new partnership that goes beyond racing,” explains Lacroix. “I can’t wait to tell you more about what’s happening behind the scenes!
Lacroix will drive the #74 Lacroix Tuning | NAPA Auto Parts | Valvoline car for the remainder of the 2022 NASCAR Pinty’s season.
The Saint-Eustache native has a triple goal at GP3R; “I would like to get my third GP3R win and my third victory of the season. I would also like to give NAPA Auto Parts the win in our first race together.”
Lacroix won in 2015 and 2016 on the streets of Trois-Rivières but has been unlucky in recent years, “every year we are fast, but we are always plagued with issues.”
After last week’s Saskatoon race, Kevin Lacroix regained the championship lead after Marc-Antoine Camirand was penalized before the race. However, Camirand appealed NASCAR’s decision and had his points restored. For the moment, Lacroix is in second place, 7 points behind the leader.
The 60 tours Métal Rousseau presented by Julia Wine will be broadcasted live on RDS2 at 2 pm, then again on RDS at 11 pm. The race will start at 2:18 pm.
