Ray Courtemanche Jr. and Mr. Emanuel Cabral, owner of Porto Cabral (http://www.globalinc.ca) are proud to announce a new partnership for the 2012 racing season. This agreement means the addition of a new approach for the marketing of these very special wines. M. Cabral is excited by the new opportunities. “I have been following racing with a passion for the last 30 years, especially NASCAR and Formula 1. This is a first opportunity for me and my company to get involved directly with a team and a driver, to get inside racing, and I am looking forward to the excitement and the business opportunities it will bring.”
Cabral added that “Just talking to Ray Jr. and his team showed me that there are also passionate about racing, and identified new ways for the racing team to work with my team at the races and other exciting events during the race weekends. And by the way, I also hope to pass on to them some of my passion for Porto wines.”
Ray Jr. Is also excited by the possibilities that will come up as a results of the partnership. “Both M. Cabral and myself are natural promoters and I am sure that we will work well together to increase his already considerable market share for this top-drawer product across Canada. I am also glad to add that M. Cabral shares our team’s commitment to helping great causes, such as Bonzaï Racing’s commitment to turn over all NASCAR Canadian Tire Series prize money to the Charles-Bruneau Cancer Center.”
The Bonzaï Racing Team will be on-track at the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series 2012 opener this weekend (May 19 and 20) at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (C.T.M.P., near Toronto), and then at Circuit ICAR de Mirabel, just north of Montreal, for the second round on June 2 and 3.
