WOODBRIDGE, ON – Canada’s Best Store Fixtures and TSC Stores, have joined forces to launch the newly formed Canada’s Best Racing Team for the upcoming NCATS event at CTMP. Joey McColm, Canadian NASCAR Driver, will pilot the #25 Canada’s Best Store Fixtures / TSC Stores Dodge Challenger for the team’s inaugural race.
Bud Morris, the founder of Canada’s Best Store Fixtures (CBSF), Canada’s Best Merchandising Services, Canada’s Best Millwork Creations, and Canada’s Best Race Team commented on the new venture; “Professional sports have always been a priority in our company mandate and business development mix. Because motorsports is where our current and future customers are, we are thrilled to be here with Joey and the #25 car. We are looking to leverage our motorsports assets to accelerate our ongoing support of Canadian sport, and have fun while doing so.”
Joining CBSF, Bud and Joey for what could be the largest motorsports event in years at CTMP is partner TSC Stores. Darryl Jenkins, Chief Merchandising Officer of TSC Stores is also enthused on the partnership; “Bud and his team at CBSF are well known to us at TSC Stores for taking care of the details. We know the race program will benefit from that attention to detail and we are thrilled to join forces with Joey. We’ll use the team’s goal to drive to the front as representation of our driven dedication to the community and our customers.”
Joey McColm returns to the challenging road course with high expectations; “We’ve got a new team, a new car and fantastic partners in CBSF and TSC Stores, so our goals are aggressive, but doable as we look to establish a foundation for the future of Canada’s Best Racing Team. I can’t wait to get on track on Friday for practice and I can’t thank Bud and Darryl enough.”
The Chevrolet Silverado 250 takes place from Friday August 30 through Sunday September 1. In addition the NASCAR event, which will take the green flag at 11:00am on Sunday, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will take to CTMP for the first time, and there will also be two rounds of the Canadian Touring Car Championship.
